Your directory, and how it relates to the proposals you have sent.
A client record holds the company name, contact person, email, phone, website, address and your own notes, and is marked active, inactive or a lead.
What you see at a glance
| Shown against each client | Where it comes from |
| Proposals | How many you have sent them |
| Revenue | What they have accepted and paid |
| Outstanding | What they still owe across their proposals |
Why proposals keep their own copy
So updating a client does not update their existing proposals. If a sent document needs correcting, change the client block on that proposal.
No accidental duplicates
Each email address can only appear once in your directory. Adding a client with an address you already have tells you which record it is, rather than creating a second one.
